Welcome to the website of UK Artist Designer Richard Buckley (aka me).
Well, after many years, I have finally made an effort to create a website that actually works....and youve found it (way to go you lol). At the moment, theres not a huge ammount of stuff on here. basically because Im my own worst critic and cant stand the sight of some of my previous work. Im hoping however, that this site will grow into something special over the years, and yes this time Im going to actually try and regularly update the darn thing. Who the hell are you?
Im Richard Buckley of course (duh). Born 1975 (although Im told I look far far younger....ahem). Ive been painting since childhoold, I won some minor local art competitions when I was a tiny little thing, passed GCSE Art with an A grade, didnt finish college, drifted away from Art as a young adult, as the harsh realities of life and jobs (yuck) hit me hard. For the last decade Ive been a creating and selling my Art quite quietly, mostly by word of mouth. I have partaken in a number of small scale exhibitions though, and have sold my work worldwide, and have been featured (featured might be a slight overstatement) in some small magazine articles from time to time.
