Your own custom piece of art

Do you like my art, but feel as though you would like something a little more personal and customised? Maybe you would like to see a child or a beloved pet in your sketch or painting. A commission might be for you. It's easy and painless, and satisfaction is guaranteed.

Getting started

Get in touch and describe to me what you'd like to see. Include any details and photographs that you think are relevant. From here I will produce a digital sketch of your commission. A low resolution copy of this sketch will be sent to you, and is yours to keep absolutely FREE, even if you decide not to go ahead with the final piece. You can also pay a small fee to upgrade your digital sketch to a high resolution version which you can print yourself up to 20x20in in size.

Ordering your commission

Once you have received your digital sketch, you can either pay to upgrade to a high resolution version, which will be sent as soon as payment is received, or you can order a full physical piece of art. The next step is to choose the size and medium of your finished artwork, any colours you’d like to use etc. At this point a deposit of £30 for pencil sketches and £150 for paintings would be payable. You can pay using PayPal, Credit/Debit Card or Bank Transfer.

What happens next?

Between us, we will decide on a timescale and rough deadline for the finished artwork. I'll keep you posted on progress of your artwork. Any time you'd like an update, get in touch and I'll let you know how things are going. I usually keep roughly to my deadlines, but occasionally a commission overruns. If you required a firm deadline for a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary, then let me know and I'll make sure that your art arrives on time.

Your arts new home

Once you have reviewed the final photographs of your artwork, and paid the balance, then it's time to get your artwork to you. You can pay for your art in 3 interest free instalments if you prefer.

I use fully insured and tracked couriers. Your art will be protected by sturdy packaging and will arrive to you in pristine condition. If you live within 50 or so miles of me, I might even deliver in person.
